Is it ok to go from a synthetic blend back to a regular oil?

Doesn't matter at all. 99% of the stories about leaking etc are myths. I've done it many times on many cars sine I order my synthetic and sometimes run out and have to have it shipped and change my oil back to regular for a 3K cycle. Haven't with the Lude but did with last 4 cars I've owned.

You'll be fine. My lude originally ran on conventional oil, then castrol syntec blend, then mobil 1 full synthetic, and finally back to conventional. No probs.
