there used to be a good thread on ntpog.

but i run the s2k filter (search for the correct part number)

i used to run mobil 1 or wix oversized.

seriously, its at most 10 bux for a filter every 5k miles (or whatever you change it at) is small price to pay for good maintanence.

k&N got that bolt at the top so its easier to tighten and loosen.

+1 fram = major crap

like the 2nd poster said, search for s2000 oil filters used on honda preludes

blake wrote a review on it, it retains more oil due to the capacity of the filter

but overall any filter is fine, just don't use fram, it cracks and sometimes leaves oil leaking

Yeah they make a big difference, personally I think FRAM makes a piece of ****. Cardboard sucks.

Usually the filter the dealership makes is the best.
