I have a 98 Prelude 5spd and i get an Oil CHange every 2700miles I get a MObil filter which costs $11.00 and i go to Prolube and he does the oil change with Mobil 1 Syntetic for me for 35 flat = is that normal ? total is 46.00 plus i use the blue bottle 5w30 and he uses all 5 bottles of it =P. How much is a usual oil change for u guys I get a oil change every 4 weeks i guess i do alot of drivng just yesterday i drove 130 miles =P and real bad days i drive 350 miles and i get real bad days about 1 every 2 weeks added 20,000 miles to my car in the last 6 months

anyway, do the oil change yourself, i use OEM filter+ mobil 1 (not blue BOTTLE, but the silver bottle ones with a blue CAP), and it's around $30 each time....

$11.00 for a filter? Buy the Honda one....it's cheaper......buy it in bulk and they're close to $4.00 each.

Honda dealer charge me 10 bucks including filter when I supply the oil, comes out to about 30 total with Mobil 1 5w30. Seems like a good deal to me.
