The Offical: Riced Out Prelude Thead

Saw this on my local craigslist ad and laughed so lets see the ugly riced out preludes local ones, off here, or other sites would be best because any1 can google images but post them aswell

the description on the ad:...1998 prelude h22vtec...custom convertible-molded body kit-fiberglass trunk enclosure with system-lambo doors-intake-exhaust-19"wheels-too too much to list....Much better in person.

I'm not gonna lie, it looks pretty good overall... but the wannabe RWD, stretched tires look is retarded. Tail lights are meh.

Are stretched out tires done for looks or is there some type of functionality to that?

that discussion can go on forever more or less lol. drifters use it to break traction. some ppl say stretching the tire reduces the flex in the sidewall making for bettering cornering. im sure to extents they are true

Ok sweet. So I guess there is some actual purpose to it. Thank you for clearing that up nordic97mist!

I think there is a purpose behind it. But not everyone that does it uses it for a purpose. Most ppl use it just b/c its the thing it seems. Like altezzas. Prolly in a couple yrs it will be the bigger the tire the better
