octane booster

Is it bad to use octane booster often. Cause all I have acces to is 91 octane gas and my car runs so much better when I use o.b. can it mess something up is I use a bottle on every gas tank.???

Yes, it will foul sensors like the O2s. I wouldn't run it very often.

octane booster is crap anyway. read the bottle good. a lot of them say the bottle is like .1 octane boost.

I wouldn't use any bit of this either because its LEADED gas. I think most ppl use toulane (sp?)

I don't know why you need higher octane, it reallly doesn't increase any negliable HP or efficiency over the 91 or 93 needed.

I find that the places with cheaper gas make my engine run a little sluggish as opposed to places like Exxon, Shell, etc. It could just be me but I know the gas is different by brand as far as what they put in it because they all look different. The octane rating shouldnt be different but the quality of fuel could be so maybe thats what you are noticing.

Chevron and Shell meet "Top Tier" standards among fuels.

Thats probable what it was I gilled my tank with the chevron gas then added the octane booser. I previously used arco thats probably why I felt an icrease in throtle responce.

The only booster I know to work well is Torco. The subie guys love Torco; it apparently does wonders for octane rating. I have never run it, because right now it wouldn't really help my Rex that much.
