Newfound information on my ring/valve seal/burning oil situation
Here's the deal, i'm definately begging for input here, I gotta get this thing fixed, my compression is as follows:
1993 H22A1 with a *supposed* 72,000 miles
cylinders 1 - 4:
160 165 170 160 dry
180 185 180 180 wet
No evidence of burning oil on the spark plugs, doesn't seem to do it much if at all at lower rpms, when it does burn you get a few puffs of blue smoke along with the black from running rich / carbon, I can go through up to 2.5 quart in 1000 miles if I drive it hard, someone was telling me good chance it's the valve seals?
Any Ideas?, the motor still produces nice power and gets good mileage, I thought if the rings were bad you'd see blue smoke at all rpms?
