Newfound information on my ring/valve seal/burning oil situation

Here's the deal, i'm definately begging for input here, I gotta get this thing fixed, my compression is as follows:

1993 H22A1 with a *supposed* 72,000 miles

cylinders 1 - 4:

160 165 170 160 dry
180 185 180 180 wet

No evidence of burning oil on the spark plugs, doesn't seem to do it much if at all at lower rpms, when it does burn you get a few puffs of blue smoke along with the black from running rich / carbon, I can go through up to 2.5 quart in 1000 miles if I drive it hard, someone was telling me good chance it's the valve seals?

Any Ideas?, the motor still produces nice power and gets good mileage, I thought if the rings were bad you'd see blue smoke at all rpms?

did you ever get that recall done to your engine? A oil seal in the engine may back out of the oil pump housing and allow the oil to be rapidly pumped out of the engine without any warning, which could cause serious engine damage. Now this recall was for 1994-97 accords and preludes. not the year you have but it may affect it also. Its worth looking in to

A leakdown test will tell you if it's the valve seals.
