Need help with intake

I have a short ram on my car. I think it's pulling in more hot air than cold. What can you do to separate the air filter from the hot engine air. Weapon R cold box is too expensive. Any type of heatshields out there for me. Custom options?

Take off the passenger side headlamp. That will get the cold air flowing in.

Have you thought about coming to the realization that even the most effective CAI and SRI add at most.....maybeeeeeeeeeee......1-2 HP?

Or are you just going to keep trying and spending money on your .3hp MONSTER?

Seriously though, your are wasting your time and money on something that has been proven for the last 10 years to add basically no performance gain AT ALL.

Why try so hard to make it......or rather, keep it...........still ineffective?

Racing stripes for the win.

OP--Have you thought about investing in 1)valvetrain mods, AND/OR 2)a tunable ECU and a full professional tune?

How about a true header?

Just dont worry about it, nothing you do (intake wise) is going to create any noticeable difference in the power your motor makes
