hello, i'm lookin to buy a prelude around a 1996 reg, is there anything a should look out for when i'm buying 1? if anyone can help me that would be great, cheers for your time.

really just look for all the standard problems with cars, oil leaks in between the head and the block, get them to turn on the car and see if smoke comes out. look for abnormalities or overspray on the body. try also to get carfax report to see how many accidents it has been involved in.

Make sure the clutch isn't slipping if it's a manual. Also, check to see if timing belt/water pump were changed if over 100k.

Yeah make sure they have done regular service, especially the 90K tune-up.
