largest injectors I can run stock...

I've got an OBDI h22, I just put in my hondata and rc550cc injectors. I think my hondata chip is bad... I cannot connect to it to datalog. But, with the hondata ecu in (p72 chipped), the car pops and sounds bad at idle, and then dies when it warms up (my guess is the 550cc injectors running rich). Get this: when I hook up the prelude ecu, it runs fine. Idles, everything is great... with new 550cc injectors!!! It does smoke when i give it gas, but not very bad, and it only smokes when i give it gas (not at idle). it normal to be ablet o idle and run 550cc injectors with a stock ecu?

I have 550cc injectors installed in my OBDI h22 right now with a stock OBDI p13.... I'm not planning on runing this setup.... it just semed a litttle strange that it would run my car fine. I know with my old b18c, anything over 310cc and a stock computer can't run it.

The point is: does this seem strange to anyone else that I can run injectors this big stock?

I don't see what's surprising...the stock ecu can still run the injectors...why not? You're just running really rich right now. Or are you wondering why the car is running ****ty from all the extra fuel? Stock fuel pressure?

i had 370cc injectors in mine and i took them out cause my car was WAY too rich. I leaned out the fuel -22 across every rpm and i was still rich!!
