I dont know if it is gonna work or not, but how come you cant get the harness with the lights? are they real JDM fogs? I think you can use the USDM wiring harness...goodluck...

you should be able to hook up the fogs to any switch you want. The fogs require a power and a ground, and if you know which wires are which on your PIAA switch, you can use it.

I think what happened was that the guy wrecked his car and took off his parts. He probrably didn't want to go through the hassle of pulling out the harness and everything. How do I know if it's real or not? Is there something that I can look for?

easy...

the front should be made of galss..not plastic
and u need metal brackets to have them fit
on the front glass, there are a lots of # on the glass..like carved in it..

mmm the casing should be silver with normal shooting paint lines.. it's in solid plastic
( looks like it is made of really thin white iron )

mmm if u connect it to ur Piaa harnee..be sure that the right voltage is used or u'll burn the driving lamps..

don't know the specs though..

BTW..u can buy only the casings and bulbs from honda japan ...i've done it twice..

the real kit form acces includes the harness and stuff though..

Hi all, i bought a pair of used JDM foggies too. I went to the dealership to check out some of the prices, $55 for the harness, ouch! Anybody recommend another (less expensive) harness, or know where I could find the USDM for less (part number?)?
JinMTVT - is Japan really the only place to get the replacement bulbs? One of mine was burnt and i'm looking to replace, how did you get yours?

Does anyone know where I can get JDM fogs right now? So far, I've noticed that every site has them sold out or coming soon....

Do you have any harness for them? i.e. the front harness for the bulbs themselves? I'm not sure how you would go about wiring that up but for the inside the car part the PIAA harness/switch should work ok. I'm in the process of moving my files over to a new site so I don't have my directions available but yes you can do it if you have the front harness.

$55 isn't too bad, but you can get discounted Honda parts from www.hparts.com www.manhonda.com and www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, besides what else are you going to do? You can make your own harness, but that's too much trouble, I would just pay the $55.

Replacement bulbs are H3c, you can find them here if you look hard enough.

I found a couple different replacement bulbs. Wagner makes the H3c bulb which you can probably get from any local shop. Also, I found that Volvo uses this bulb. I just need to stop by one of the dealerships w/ the bulb and see if they can give me a part number.
