So I had my exedy organic clutch and act prolite flywheel installed yesterday, finally! After sitting on them for months, I finally had the cash to have them put in. All I can say is that I abso-freakin-lutely love this combo! The flywheel feels like the perfect weight, not too heavy, not too light. I ordered it, not knowing the weight, but weighed it and it's 10lbs exactly. I'm still breaking in the clutch, of course, but just my regular "around town" driving puts a smile on my face. I can't wait until this baby is all broken in and I can drop the hammer a couple of times. Big ups to Blacktrax for the install and replacing my bad axle & leaky rear main at the same time.

is it streetable?
i was thinking about changing to lighter flywheel but im afraid it's going to be hard to drive...
did you have problem driving w/ aftermarket flywheel? (stalling, and rev matching)
would you recommend lighter flywheel?

you'll stall from time to time if you're just being careless... but you don't need a light flywheel to have that happen. rev matching is a lot easier w/ ligher fliywheels and yes i recommend it.
hmm... i never stall w/ my stock flywheel even though im careless... i just BOG.....
hmm... i wonder how would it be w/ 10lbs and 12lb....
let me know guys....
liloutlaws... thanks for the respond

Very streetable with the Streetlite. Actually didn't notice much of a difference. It just revs *slightly* faster.

lil advice for "liloutlaws" for stalling...
if you adjust clutch engagement point about 1/2 inch up, it helps a lot....
it's always that 1/2 inch that makes you stall

Yeah, I have no problems at all, as far as driveability goes, with my 10lbs prolite. I don't stall or bog or anything. I just drive like normal, but the acceleration is a lot more fun.

i just got my act kit, which has the pressure plate and the street clutch and bearing and tool. i havent ordered the flywheel yet but i am getting a fidanza. also, i think i will notice a huge difference cuz at the same time i am fixing the slave cylinder which is leaking, so hopefully i wont get locked out of second gear when launching anymore. (it launches hard and then when i try to throw it into second gear it just wont go in and my car revs up to like 7500 because i am quick and let out clutch and floor it, so i typicaly lose to things i shouldnt lose to thanks to that.) so hopefully all this stuff will fix my problem.
-peace,
nate
