Indiglo Gauges

Hey guys, I am trying to install some Indigo Gauges on my friends 94 Prelude, and I have a few questions that I was hoping you guys could answer. The directions say to connect the power and the ground directly to the gauge cluster I assume this means to sodder (sp) them. This really isn't something I wanted to do. Any of you use another power source????? I used the double sided tape so the needles wont stick, but I just didn't want to start cutting wires and soddering (sp) things without the help of guys who have done this before. Any help or direction to where I could get this info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Just tap into the wires going into the guage cluster. You know the ones that plug into the cluster. Make sure the wires you tap into are the ones that turn on and off with the parking lights though.

I got my facts a little mixed up. It is a 93 SI. I figured that all you would have to do is splice the wires that connect to the gauge, and just make sure I got the ones that give power when the lights come on. Thanks so much guys. I am a maxima guy, and these preludes are new to me, but basically its all the same concepts for most cars. Thanks again for all your help.
