The CEL has been on in my 97 lude since i bought it and now im trying to diagnose the problems! Before i took a paperclip and stuck both ends into that connector and turned the car on! This was my first time doing this so i cant really identify the code!

The CEL flashed 6 times paused then 1 long flash and 4 more quick flashes!
Are these codes 6 and 14? Did i read it right? Where can i find out what these codes mean?

I think it ay be the ECT Sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature) and IAC Valve (Idle Air Control)! I do i go about fixng those?
