How long?? And why?

So I have had my prelude since I bought it in 2001. At first it took me awhile to like the 5th gne body style. But I soon fell inlove. Bought the old girl from Howdy honda in Austin, Texas. Drove her 5k miles all the way to Juneau, AK. She has been through some rough times but I could never sell no matter what. I can't sell her because I belive that when built right it is by far the sexiest car I have ever seen.

So the question is how long have you owned your lude and wh have you held on to her?

Any Gen?
I had a 1988 between 2000-2003 and my 1995 prelude between 2005 and now.
I love it, even though it gives me issues from time to time.

bought mine new in 99'. ran great. maybe even better than new. was planning on keeping it for another couple years until some dumb ass rear ended it last week and totaled it. I am still looking for another clean 5th gen. I just like the car. The rareness, balance of the car, decent power and fun to drive.
