How are Kumho Supra 712 Tires...need opinions...

Just wondering how these tires are. I hear mixed reviews. I found a great deal on rims and tires and they only tire they offer is the Kumho Supra 712 so I want to hear some opinions on the tires.

I love them. I've only ridden on Dunlop SP9000 and Yoko. Avid V4. and I must say that the Kuhmos are better than both of them. Very predictable, and amazing dry/wet grip. I autocrossed with it only once so far and I love them. The best tires for around $60 a piece IMO.

I have the 712's, and i like them, my previous tires were nitto nt450's. I have to say the kuhmos handle AT LEAST as well as the nittos, and are alot better made(the sidewalls on nittos are ****ty and dont last, in my experience.) The kuhmos are a great tire, anyone that says they are no good has never driven on them.

wonderful tires, they last long too, grip great in wet and dry condtions, and you can hear them stick to the ground during hard braking.

my rears were just replaced because my old kumho were going out, still love em

Yeah, it's a very nice tire. Will I buy it again? Probably not (can you say Azenis) but I've been very satisfied and would recommend them.

make sure you get the 350 treadwear kumho's if you're going daily on them. i had the 220's and they lasted me a lil over a month. excellent grip but i dont need that luxury on my daily drives.

IMO, Ecsta Supras are junk.

I just put on a set of Sumitomo HTR ZIIs on my Supra and god damn they grip now.

I had Falken GRBs on there previously in a 265.

I put on 275s and I don't ever break traction in first gear now, yet at least.

My 275/40/17s cost me $115 each.

Same here, I have Ecsta Supra 275/35/18 on my 240 and they don't grip at all. spin them easily in 1st and 2nd gear. but they do last pretty long.

exactly. Kumho = softest sidewall in the world. For $4 more you can get yourself some sumitomo HTR ZIIs (at tirerack.com 205/50/16) I have had both tires and the sumitomo's def. grip better.

The Kumhos 712s are ok. I had them in 17s when I had my 00 Si. Before that I had the stock michelin tires and yokohoma avid h4s. The 712s were better than the both but would I buy them again. That's a NO.

if anyone is looking for excellent upgrades, i just went from Potenza RE92's to Potenza RE730's and WOW. On the 92's i would take this one turn at 30 mph usually and i could hear them start to chirp, with the 730's i can take it at 40 easily and i dont hear anything, they are like glue. I drove through the rain last night, booya, they are incredible too. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone!

He said he wants your Silvia

I've had my Kumhos for a year now and they still have about 75% tread left on them and they look great. They grip pretty damn good too. I don't have to worry about spinning tires I'd say Kumhos kick ass for an auto lude hehe
