How to adjust preload progress sway bar

I am looking to install my progress rear sway bar ASAP. While it looks like a fairly simple job I am just worried about all the talk regarding preload. Can someone explain how to install the bar correctly. IIRC you should remove preload before you drop the car back on the wheels correct? How is it done?
BTW I am using the progress endlinks.

Thanks

I'm too lazy/tired to read through the thing but here is the NTPOG writeup.

yeah man I read that write up before. However it does not say how to adjust the preload. Any one know how to address that?

Thanks

Load the suspension under vehicle weight. Install the sway bar endlinks.

so I should use ramps in the rear when I put the new bar on or simply just put the car back on the ground and crawl under the rear and install them?

I usually load the suspension on the hubs, as I find it easier to get to the end links with no wheels on the car. This doesn't truly load the suspension like it's loaded when it's on the ground, but it's pretty close. Make sure you have someone about the same weight as you sitting in the driver's seat.

... and that's why I'd have Billy work on my car.

I have the bar also and my question is, how are you going to preload with no rims? Are you putting jack stands under the control arms and then having someone sitting in the car? That would really help cause the weight of the car is not on the bar. Also on the ground you cant get to the links with the rims on. So I thought you had to install with no preload, AKA freely hanging suspension? no rims. Let me know cause I am having problems with mine now also. THanks.

You have to find a Progress dealer. I'm not sure where to find one. You might try looking on the sponsor section of Honda-Tech.
