Actually when I think about it, if you look at the wiring diagram you don't even need to know which wire to connect together. You can just try them all until something happens, I don't think you can even blow a fuse by trying them all

i am not sure if you are talking about a 5th genbut getting around the immobilizer and steering lock make it one hell of a task so there is really no harm in this thread

Anyways.. Would leaving the WHT(BAT) and BLK/YEL (IG1) Wires connected while the vehicle is off drain the battery? My ignition switch is toast and it starts when it wants (usually several minutes of key dance/jiggling starts it), but I don't want it to stall in traffic so the bypass will work until I get a new switch. But would I have to disconnect these wires from each other when I turn the vehicle/key off?
