I have an opertunity to get a JDM h22 auot tranny, for my hybrid accord very, very cheap. I am going ot go look at it in the next few days, but wanted to know if there are any ways to check the tranny to make sure that it's a true JDM. Just looking at the tranny, i am not sure if i will be able to tell the difference between the JDM h22 tranny, and a normal f22 or f23 tranny. I just don't want to fall for a mistake. I don't even think the h22's in the states ever came with auto, but i might be mistaken. (not until 97 anyway).
Also, what should i look for as far as wear and tear go? Are there any things that i should look for that are signs of extreme wear or damage?
thanks guys
(i know, i know, auto..... I heard it all before j/k!!!)

Not the wrong board. I am asking about the JDM h22 tranny. Since the h22 and f22-23 motors use very similar trannies, i just used the f series as an example of what i could get it confused with.
