For the first 5 years I owned my Prelude I used had a half nose mask on it that I purchased from Honda. I have taken it out of storage and reinstalled it on my car so as to take another look at it.
What I liked about it.
I liked the red on black look it gave the front of the car
It protected the front hood from rocks ,etc and had a lip on the upper end of it that reduced paint chips on flat part of the hood.
I liked the over sized Prelude emblem on the front.
I was the only person I have ever seen with such a part on my Honda so that gave my car a unique appearance which I liked.
The clever way its installed does not subtract from the fit and finish of the car .
What I disliked about it.
The word Prelude printed twice on the same place on the car and I had to remove the H on the front of my car.
I have replaced the Prelude badge in the grill with a ATTS badge so I think that makes the mask on the car look better. Also please note because its been folded up in a bag for 5 years the leather is a little wrinkled but it will flatten out with time.
What is your opinion of this Honda's aftermarket accessory?
If ya sell it let me know. I have one already but would like an extra set of the corner pieces. Actually just sell me the corner pieces and keep the hood piece if ya want.
Now you can say you have seen another car with it.
