hid kit help

ok so i have a 97 lude and want to put some 8000k hid lights on my car! so what all do i need.?? do i need a conversion kit for them to fit or jus buy some hid bulbs..?? first time installing some in my car what do i need.??

Yes you will need a conversion kit. But first you might want to look into getting some projector headlights or retrofitting projectors into your existing headlights.

Putting HIDs into stock headlights will cause way too much glare

ive got a hid kit in mine now and would never do it again......half the time im checkin my dash lights cause its almost like my lights arent on.....best bet would be to do a retro fit.....wish i would have stuck the oem lights in the glove box to cause they suck that bad.

You might want to consider not getting the 8000k HID lights. They have a purplish color tint, and they put VERY little light on the road. If you do your research you will find that anything above 4300k and you start putting less light on the road and all you get is a change in color. I did a lot of research at one time and I would try the 4300k first. Just a thought.
