Help! Chipping!

I just had a mugen kit installed (bumper, skirts, rears) and to say the least.. the roads here are less than dust/dirt/the odd pebble free. I have already taken a few nasty chips in my front bumper front idiots flying past and spraying me.. but I'm taking far worse damage on the front of my sideskirts where the front tires are kicking everything up. It's just on the very front face of the skirt which is facing the tire and a bit underneath. I need to put something in front of it or cover it with something to protect my paint.. and the fiberglass from chips and sandblasting from the road while I can!

any suggestions?

also.. if anyone has any tips on how I can protect my bumper from idiots a little more I'd all ears. It's not flat enough to use 3m clear tape on and I am getting such nasty chips it's going right through the paint and leaving me with little white spots where the fiberglass peeks through.

amazingly the rear is holding well.. but because it's nice and flat with a simple curve I'm going to cover both sides partially with 3m clear.

You're definitely in a tough spot - the 3M clear bra is pretty much the best protection out there for bumpers other than getting a regular bra, and if you can't avoid the bad roads then there really isn't much you can do. It definitely wouldn't hurt to always have fresh, multiple layers of wax on your car to provide some sort of protection, but if you can't also add mudflaps then paint protection is also limited.

I had to give up my mudflaps too when I installed my lip kit, but I've learned to anticipate other drivers' behaviors nowadays. I usually lag behind other cars, and eventually you begin to having a feeling where some other car is about to overtake you. I'm usually the one that slows down to let others pass and give myself enough space so that if there are any pebbles that were to be kicked up, it wouldn't damage the paint since I'm behind enough.
