Headlights going out while driving?

My headlight's been acting weird lately. Sometimes, at idle, when I turn it on, it would come on very quickly (.1 sec) then go out. The first click (corner lenses) stays on, but the headlights itself goes out.
Tonight while I was driving, the headlights went out. So I'm sitting clicking the lights on and off about 10 times then the headlights finally came back on. Then when I got home, I turn the lights on and off and it's completely normal.

I've had my alarm installed about 1 month ago, with remote headlight activation. But the problem occured just a couple days ago. I'm thinking it has something to do with the alarm, but does anyone have any ideas what it could be specifically? Is there anything else besides the alarm that can cause the headlights to act this way?

Probably Alternator problems or a loose wire in the alarm install. I had a similar experience with the flickering headlights when my 1st Alternator went out (my system fried it in 6 months).

Ok, I just came back from checking the wires on the alarm, near the brain. Everything seems fine/secure. Turn the headlights on and off with the engine off, it comes on fine.

Coil: If it was my alternator, wouldn't my system or the other lights go out too? I never thought that it could be the alternator, but thinking about it, my alternator has 117k on it and it's starting to whine around 3k rpm. I just put my system in at the beginning of this week too. Thanks for the help.

I did, while I was checking the wiring on the alarm . If it was the fuse, the lights wouldn't come on at all.

I had the same thing happen before. Mine was just the ground behind the passenged side headlight. Just check all your grounds to make sure they are secure.
