Have radio code but it doesn't work - Help!

Have a 98 Prelude. Had to disconnect the battery. Can't find the code anywhere in the car so I took the radio out and got the following number off the bottom of the radio:
FA05633B

Also got the following number off the back of the radio:
FF01833B

Took both numbers to the Honda Dealer and they entered both into their system. Got the code 13444 for the FA05633B number. No code for the second number.

Went home, entered the code and it didn't work. Tried several times. Unhooked battery and tried several more times. Still didn't work. Went back to the dealer and they confirmed the code is 13444 - even gave me a pintout of the screen.

Here is what I see on the radio when I enter 13444:

When I enter 1 - C 1
When I enter 3 - O 3
When I enter 4 - d 4
When I enter 4 - - 4
When I enter 4 - ERR1 (ERR2 on the 2nd try and ERR3 on the third try)

Doesn't make sense. Can anyone help? Not sure what to do next.

I would drive over and show them you entering it, and it not working. Its obviously 134xx because the first three numbers give you the appropriate reponse. Just need to know those other two numbers.

I pulled the ratio again thinking that maybe I got the serial number wrong. Looked on top of th radio and found another number. Took it to the dealer and it came up with another code. Tried it and it worked. Lesson learned - look for all numbers.

if you look at the inside of the glove box, there should be a sticker with the code on it. I think mine was on the left side but check everywhere.
