I removed my stock piping and cat, welded on a 2.5" piping from the downpipe back, mandrel bent to a Greddy Power Extreme muffler, it isn't Raspy its deep and loud I am thinking about putting on a high flow cat.

Well my first exhaust was a generic dual pipe muffler with custom 2.25" piping. I took off the muffler cause it was too loud, and put the stocker on instead. Having the stock exhaust on the back pretty much made it silent again, even though I had the piping (with a glass-pack resonater I had added on). It was a tiny bit louder than stock with stock piping, but it wasn't even close to the sound of an intake. Hope that helps.

i took mine along time ago and kept the resonaotr and muffler and replaced the cat with a magna flow and then all teh piping with 2.5inch. Then a couple years later i replaced it again with more custom pipiing and this time with another magna cat and then an exhuast n1 type thing.

get a shop to make a cheap 2.75 inch custom exhaust with a cheap 2.75 inch oem replacement muffler. you'll get a few hp without the noise.
