So, i was thinkin the other day and i thouhgt about this.
Lets say you knew how to do everything, willing to do all the hard work and whatnot.
Is it possible to make a prelude rwd by using a tranny from an s2000.
Because the s2k uses an f series motor and f and he series motor stuff is interchangable right?
i´m not going to do it.
I just thouhgt of it and wanted to see what yall thought.
oh man. This has been talked about before, but I'm not sure if it's been done. I think the answer you're going to get is, 'you can do anything with the right amount of money.' I have never seen a thread on the S2000 drivetrain going into the prelude successfully; but a couple RWD preludes have been done successfully IIRC. I believe they mounted the H22 midship, transplanting a front subframe into the rear of the car. There's gotta be threads about this somewhere.

Ok.
That would be the first time i´ve ever heard that phrase.
BUt i got it now.
THat rwd prelude is like sex and candy.
Except it´s not really a prelude anymore.
Just a prelude body.

The F20c & F22c from the S2000 is not at all compatible with the F series found in Accords & Preludes. There are some similar dimensions and a few parts that can be swapped around, but nothing like you're talking about.
BBY is right, run a search or three, you'll find the exact same question/discussion beaten to death here (and on every other Prelude forum out there).

Yeah I won't comment on the RWD conversion, but I will emphasize that the Accord F-series has almost nothing in common with the s2000 F-series. I'm not even sure why Honda used the same naming.
why not just use the trans from a H22 CR-V and make it awd or not use the front axels and have your RWD car.
Anything can be done with the right amount of money. There is an Integra with an H22 and CR-V tranny here in Colorado... seen it drift with the rear tires blazin!

My buddy Tyler was telling me about that Integra.
He lives in the springs and drives a twinny talon.
I saw a long thread on a rear engine integra a while back, but i'm not sure if it was rwd. It seems like it would be.
