Isn't gunmetal supposed to be shiny, like jet-black?

I was going to powdercoat SSR Competitions when I got them... but then I looked at some powdercoated stuff and it's all dull, lacking that shine =/

Looks good, IMO. Might be better on a silver 'lude

They are shiny, just a cloudy day not enought light. I am thinking of doing it to my sh rims too but we will see. It has to grow on you. I think it will look better on the red and silver but it looks pretty god on the pearl, Ill have to get a pic of it rolling the sun reflects of the insides of the rims, and looks pretty good.

It has quite a lot of blue in it for gunmetal!
Gunmetal should be more of a brown-grey!

I am not into rims as dark as that, but that is just IMO!
I fancied these titanium colured rims for mine a little while ago, and it is all the rage on the motorsport scene at the moment!

I agree, but this is a special case. It's not like they are white, blue, or yellow, now that is ricey.

i have the same 4th gen wheels as you deceptakon....i'm thinking it would be in the neighborhood of 25-50 per wheel...there are specialized businesses that do powdercoating...i'm going to check there

It would look sweet to make your car all monochromatic. Make your rims with and buy white "H" emblems.
