fuel tuning

hey is there any fuel tuning literature you guys can recommend?
I'm looking at the fuel tuning variables right now and I'm a bit confused. Hypothetically speaking this would be for a full motor setup or low boost FI setup.
Okay, lets see what my variables are...
-larger injectors (if so would 320cc's suffice? or is 370cc be better?)
-adjustable fuel pressure regulator(if so, what pressure is optimum?)
-larger fuel pump
-V-AFC

What do you suggest I use to optimize my setup? Would you say I'd need all 4of the variables above or a combination or???
I'm trying to think about all 4 of these things and it is keeping me up at night.

I guess all four could be used together...hmmm....
In a perfect world I could have all four but the parameters is funds. I actually have the V-AFC, and the adjustable FPR now, and wondering if I need larger injectors and/or a larger/stronger fuel pump if i were to proceed with the above setup.

Do you guys with the JRSC have this stuff for fuel delivery? You guys get something called the black box and the JR fuel pump correct?
So hold the injectors open longer and pump more?

To tell you the truth....
thinking about all the different factors really gives me a headache
Kinda like juggling thoughts in my head and trying to keep everything in perspective at the same time.

i think some time ago, Heretic said that he managed to control his 440s with vafc; not perfect, but definitely possible. i would think that 370 will definitely be a much better idea than 320s, but what is your hp goal? i think your choice of injectors would more likely be 370s and 440s. if you are not making lots of hp, my guess is that 370s with higher fuel pressure will suffice. stock pump should also be able to handle up to 70psi of fuel pressure. given funds limitation, i will make full use of what you have, and go for 370s, just because 370s will bring you to a theroretical 210hp to the wheels at stock fuel pressure.

just my $0.02

JR provided us with a higher-flow fuel pump and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

As far as I know (and I have yet to confirm this by speaking directly with JR), the "black box" is only their to control (reduce) engine timing. No fuel maps or anything. But once I find some time, I'll try to call JR to see what kind of info they can give out (apparently their sales people have no clue whatsoever, and only 1 or 2 tech guys are ever present in the entire company).

Thanks 98Lude
I am guessing 200-210whp is what I'm hoping to get. So I might look into a 370cc RC injector in combination with my FPR and V-AFC. Maybe I'll get the larger fuel pump next year. Thanks so much for your input.
