There are about 4 of those on eBay right now and I've bid on three of them. I want to know if it will work in a 5th gen before I go spending over $100 for it. I know there are a few people checking to see if it can be done (easily).

Well, the only thing I know is that the 4th gen and 5th gen units mount differently. The 5th gen unit has angle brackets near the front of the unit that hold it in the dash. The 4th gen unit doesn't has these brackets and I think it just screws in on the side or something. Also the harness plugs are different on the back of each unit.
