Well the clutch in my 5th gen went out, and I replaced it. Let me just say that replacing the clutches in preludes is DEFINATLY harder than any other import. Personally it htink that it owuld be easier to pull the whole engine to do the job. Getting the tranny off and on is the biggest ***** in the world. But i did it all on my back so you people with lifts and stuff

. It took em and my friend forever to do it all. To pull the tranny and get to everything bolt and stuff in there we had to pul the intake, starter, waterpump, coil. and battery. Then we still had to finagaly around with the tool to get the motor mounts off and stuff. THE JOB IS A BIT*C AND A HALF!!!. But anyway got ti all off and then had to get the fly wheel trued. It was all purple and cracked. had to get 30thousandths taken off. But it is amm pretty now. MY flywheel is at its half life right now. Oh and the old clutch it self was at the rivets. It was really bad. Plus the smeel of buring clutch is really bad. It was everywhere. So we got the new clutch and pressure plate in and evertything. Gotit all hooked back upa nd to my surprise the car didnt throw a code and worked the first time. I put in a RAM force Strip clutch. It isnt meant for street use and i think it is illegal on the street. BUT ITS GREAT!!!!. 2800lbs of holding power. There is no feathering the clutch anymore. It is set up to either be on or off. Its a way rough ride but OH MY GOD does it grip. I can lauch like no other. The hard part is now is keeping the tires on the road. But is is way fun. Sorry it is such a long post. Just wanted to share my adventures. Questions and comments welcome. Oh and I needed that much holding power for my NOS and the turbo and is on her way
