Field Vtec controller problems

Allright got a problem, MyY vtec controller is acting up. I installed it, and followed the instructions, soldered all the wires and everything was fine. Until i turned it on and took it out. Okay first problem, when the car is at idle the VTEC controller reads 800-1100 rpms when acually the tach, reads 600-800. When i took it out on the test run, i noticed that the Feilds and the tach are almost 2000 rpms off.I Had the Vtec X-0ver at 48k well it came on around 3k, and i had the rev Beep set at 7500 and the **** came on a 6k. Im lost. I know this is not normal, if anybody has some info to pass to a brother i would appreciate it. Also which color wires used for the lude, i followed the diagram provided by feilds and i still have like 4 wires left. Oh and the VTM wire is hooked up tp the VTM signal so i dont know why it is acting up, and i have 1 speed wire hooked up (i think) but there is another speed wire left over.
Thanks
Your bro in Butt **** Oklahoma!!!!

the dip switches on the back might be wrong. My friend had them wrong and his km/h read like 3x what he was really going, ehehee, great for getting up to 300km/h!

about the vtm wire, one side goes to the vtec controller, the other side is taped, correct? just making sure, i don't think its this problem. i think its the dip switches for sure. unless you wires the wrong rpm signal, double check that too.

Pure lude do you know how the dip switches should look. BIlly told me this might be the problem as well. On the Feilds diagram it just says how to revome the speed limiter but nothing else. Im going to mess with it some more now that it is morning time. Thanks.

Okay i got every thing to work Finally, i guess the feilds wiring digram forgot a wire, but i figured it out. So the rpms read correct( off by maybe 200 the most) not 2000, the KMH is reading correct, Vtec crossover ingages when selected.

but I do have one more proplem. The Car is shutting down around 65k like there is a rev or speed limiter, whats the deal?
Also i was told that the VTM wire is to be connected to the ecu wire to the blue plug. But in the feilds diragram it says that it should be connected to the VTM wire from the front of the car. Any ideas.
Ev.
