Fan switch failure

Ever since I got my new motor built for turbo I have been overheating. If I sit still long enough, especially on hot days, my fans will wait way too long before they come on, usually 2 “bars past normal operating temp. I tried to get more air flow to the radiator buy installing 2 push fans, 1-14 and 1-10 along with a relay, and it still gets too hot. There is also 1 bottle of Water Wetter in the system. I’m sure I could solve some of my problem by rerouting my downpipe and dumptube but that’s too much work. The dumptube is 3 away from the radiator. The radiator, cap and t-stat have all been changed within the past 10k miles. I’m thinking my main culprit is the fan switch, anyone care to confirm?

Again, the fans are coming on, just way too late.

I appreciate it guys...
Russ

Also I didn't mention that my JDM H22 does not have the sensor in the front water neck. However, before I had my motor built I had no problems with overheating issues so I doubt that is the culprit.

I don't remember exactly but IIRC there is a normal switch to engage the fans and then one for an overtemp if the car is still hot when it is shut off.

I would look at any changes in the wiring for problems and verify proper operation of the switch at the set temperature. I can say I have yet to see one fail on a Honda, and they generally won't work at all, not come on late.

If you have pusher fans on it & it still overheats, that tells me that the rad is too small, airflow is blocked, or the DP is too close.

an aftermarket koyo, not a big one, it's OEM size but it supposedly keep the car 30% cooler...
