Door ding =(

I got a ding on sat while I was parked




do you guys know if I can actually reach into the outer layer of the body if I remove the rear interior panels? Cuz I know its a doulbe layer, but I m not sure if i can actually reach the outside layer with the panels removed. I wanna push it back out myself. TIA

Actually what a body shop did for me once was drill a hole into the piece of metal that is perpendicular to the outside panel and use a tool to "massage" the metal from the inside. After it was done and repainted, you could never tell it was there. After they were done, they just plugged the hole with a small piece of rubber.

yea.. i took the panels out.. i couldnt reach the outer layer. =( cant do nothing about it

beach cities paintless dent removal. They took out about a half dozen dents just like that in my car for $125 total.

I used the Ding King (I Think thats what it was called) its like glue and this device that that you twist and it pops the dent right out. I had a big dent in my car used that and it looks great. Cost $20

They had specialized tools that look like bars with a little turn on the end, they put those behind the panels and pushed the dents out.

Mine look perfect, can't even tell i had dents there.
