Cost for installation of a new clutch....

What do you think is the normal cost to have an aftermarket clutch installed and the flywheel resurfaced? Im looking around now and I want to make sure I dont end up paying too much. Thanks.

PS: Cost for just the labor, and machining.

Including buying the clutch from them, it was 675 after tax and stuff.

Generally, it will be cheaper if it's non-SH.

What??? I did the clutch swap on my car with a local shop owner (best friend also, thats why he helped me for free) and he charges $250 on 4th gen ludes. He's a professional too.

It's really not that hard if the person knows what to do, just takes about 3-4 hours to do it properly.

Its not that hard, I did it myself on my Lude once.

My 4wd pickup was a farking PITA.
The Miata I'm currently ass deep into isnt exactly easy either.
The Prelude was cake compared to these 2.

i got mine done for 450 just labor. Most places around here wanted between 600-800. This is a SH btw, the lowest estimate i got was 250, but it wasnt exactly the greatest shop.
