Cold Air Intake HELP

So my inlet (i think thats what it's called, the tube that sucks the air into the engine intake) tube cracked in my '96 Prelude S.
Honda no longer makes the tube and no salvage yards in my area have it.
A friend reccomended putting an aftermarket cold air intake kit on it.

I went up to O'Reileys auto parts and ordered a kit, but it didn't come with the tube!
So i returned the part and am currently looking at Weapon-R brand cold intake kits, as well as K&N brand.
Does anyone know if this includes the tube, or does anyone have any other suggestions?

Sorry if my discriptions are vague or unclear, I know nothing about cars.

Just buy an intake on ebay and put a decent filter (AEM or K&N) on it.

What do you mean?
Is the intake the hose part or the wierd shaped thing at the end?

The intake is the tube, the filter is the "weird shaped thing" on the end. Ebay intakes will come with a filter, but throw that part in the trash and replace it with a good universal cone filter (like a K&N or AEM).

Yeah I ordered OBX intake pipes of ebay, bought a 3" K&N filter and 2 couplers from AutoZone and boom...cold air intake.
No need to spend $300 on a AEM cold air intake. Piping is piping.

Yeah, but I was really interested in the intake kit, and money isnt really an issue.
Anyone dealt with a Weapon-R Monster?

Also the difference bwtween cold air intake and short RAM intake?

Short ram intakes are simply shorter cold air intakes. They have the filter sitting next to the battery. Cold air intakes usually have the filter close to the ground. The piping goes through the hole next to the battery closer to the ground (gets cooler air than a filter right next to a hot engine).

If money isn't an issue then buy an AEM V2 (short ram) or an AEM cai. I have an AEM cai...
