Clutch problem...need some help asap!

The engagement point used to be near the floor now it's all the way at the very top of the stroke. I barely have to press the clutch pedal to shift gears.

I searched and most people suggested to adjust the pedal. Did that and removed at bit of the freeplay cuz it was too much. Now the engagement point on the pedal is a little lower but it's still at the very top of the stroke. I barely press the pedal to shift gears. The clutch has about 16k miles on it and so does the slave cylinder. Master cylinder has about 116K on it. It's not leaking any fluid anywhere.....although when I was adjusting the pedal I did notice the carpent under the Master Cylinder area was blackened a bit by some oil or grease or something....but it wasn't much.

When I put it in first it feels as if the clutch isn't grabbing anywhere near as much as it used too. The clutch still grabs pretty strong though in all other gears and is not slipping.

When I parked the car after driving a couple of miles it sounded as if the clutch was engaged the entire time it was parked.....I'd rev it and it sounded like there was some grinding coming from somewhere. Anyone know what could be the cause? I changed the whole clutch along with the flywheel...16k miles ago.....and it's been fine until now.
THANX!

are you sure you bled it real good? maybe when you adjusted the clutch, you adjusted to much and took out to much free play. maybe the clutch actually is still slightly engaged. i would change out the master cylinder. it's an easy ass job, in fact, somewhere on here, someone did a right up cause i asked about doing it. then i made my own right up. i'll see if i can find it...
