But I like the idea of oil not getting into the IM, so im gonna run a catch can, just dont know what brand yet. Was also thinking of the greddy one.

Edit:
I found this - The Old One - Energy Dynamics : Recommended Components
Moroso can, but theres 2 tubes, what would the problem be in doing like this. Pcv -> that moroso can -> IM?

That one looks like a prefect meeting point for the 2 cans. The only problem i see is with smaller inner diameter hoses is it might not be enough crank case relief. so just do a good reline pull in the car and stop and see if the dipstick has popped out of the tube.

Thanks alot, isnt the h22 using 9mm hosing?
I read some place that a can with a breather filter on might take away hp. Some dude installed the greddy one and was able to feel it pull harder in the midrange. Not sure if thats a troll though

Edit:
I found the link - Greddy oil catch can - Honda Prelude Forum

Yeh.. I kinda like the moroso anonymous look. But if it takes away hp? Might not be a problem on Turbo cars, but maybe on NA cars. Not sure :s
I hate the look of the greddy can though, to shiny..

i run a morosso catch can, you dont have to get anything welded to the valve cover. just run one line from your pcv outlet (just delete the stock valve thing and plug the intake manifold with a cap) to the catch can and run the other line to the breather on the other side of the valve cover. i have the catch can mounted where the cc normally goes (i think) right next to the fuse box. works fine on my mild boosted motor (360 whp) welding bungs on the valve cover looks really good imo but its not the only way to go, save some money unless you are going for a monster engine that needs to vent off some extreme pressure, but my set up seems to be just fine requiring less modification and a completely stock valve cover

Thanks man,
is it okay just to cap off the hose at intake manifold where PCV should go?

What you mean is a tube from PVC (on top og valvecover) to moroso, and cap off the hose on the intake manifold?

It's not oil being pulled into the intake, it's blow by gasses, the PCV system helps prevent sludge build up under the VC.

Yea, but with gasses comes a little oil
Do you think its OK just to plug the intake manifold with a cap?
Should there be any problems with that at all
