Cat-back pipe size question

Are all aftermarket cat-backs (Greddy, Apexi, Tanabe) tapered at the cat? I've got a TSRM and instead of modifying the pipe, I think I'll look into getting a different exhaust. I'd like to find something 60mm "ALL" the way through.

Not that I know of because I did measure the exhaust prior to putting it on and it was 60mm at the flanges on the B-pipe that attaches to the cat.

Which exhaust?

I also thought that all (or most) were tapered at the cat. I know that Mugen is.

Apex-i Dunk.

Are you sure that all brands of exhaust tapers at that location? I doubt they will since the stock cat is at 52mm (not 100% sure); Type S would be at 57mm.

I'm not sure... that's why I'm asking about different brands. I can only tell you about the TSRM and it goes from 60mm (at muffler) all thet way through until about 3" from the cat, then tapers off to about 52mm to match the cat.

Without even measuring, one can tell that the piping is straight from the cat up until the resonator, then from after the resonator to the muffler is still a constant 60mm.
