Carbon Fiber Hood On Silver 5th Gen

I need some opinions (yes I have searched the threads with no luck) I bought this silver Prelude a couple of months ago. The car is in awesome shape except for the hood, it has lots of rock dings and rust spots. I went to some paint shops and they want $400.00 to repair and repaint the hood. I can get a new oem carbon fiber hood for not much more than that, but I'm not sure how it would look on my un-modified Prelude. I put a hood mask on it to cover up the mess but I'm really not crazy about the looks of it.
What do yall think, should I go for the paint or a new CF hood?

It'll look good on silver and it won't look out of place if you plan on lowering with your SH wheels. Just get used to people asking you why you didn't paint your primed hood.

I have a CF hood and trunk on my silver 5th gen and I love the look. Mind you, I've kept that colour theme through out all of my exterior mods...

if you're gonna leave the car stock the cf hood would look out of place. atleast lower it and a lip kit would go better with the cf hood.

Thanks for all the replies, Wow! "thepreludedude" Awesome looking car! I really like the looks of the hood without the hood pins.
