Can't stop hyperblinking!! (attn grnlude97, etc.)

I did the turn signal/sidemarker mod posted by grnlude97 but I can't stop the setup from hyperblinking when the park or head lights are on and I hit the turn signal. I tried wiring in a 194/168 bulb on pin 87 of relay #2 but that didn't help (the additional bulb just hyperblinked as well). I tried a Radio Shack .5w 15-ohm resistor (as suggested by someone else in the thread) but that didn't work either (and yes, I did remember to ground the bulb and the resistor). I even tried both wired in series.

I did everything exactly like the diagram shows except for running an additional wire (on top of the ones going to Relay #2 pin 30 and #1 pin 85) from the blinker wire. It's not wired to anything right now but I do plan to send it to the front park light later on (for that E-Class turn-signal-in-headlight effect).

Other than the hyperblinking, the whole setup works perfectly. I don't understand how wiring a bulb or resistor on #2 87 will stop the hyperblinking. Hyperblinking is cool for about 2 seconds then I quickly grew tired of it...

That's a good idea (the double filament socket). Where did you find it?

well you can fit any in. liek the socket i went to the junk yard for it. I did check honda dealerand ask for the civic one( the one in front for standby and signal). however, the socket is like close to 20.00 and there was no harness for it. so if you buy harness it will cost like 100.00 +40.00 for two socket thatt a lot. So me and my friend went to junk yard and found it. We didn't any ivic instead we saw the eclipse and it work fine.

BTW: My friend car is okay no hyperblink **** like mine, i think one of my socket or harness is not working right that is the reason why. If you needed help let me know email me i'll try my best

Also is that if you do it with this method the standby will not be bright as the other method where you use 5 relay for it. but its quicker and less hassel with the relay.
