Can you bypass the Immobilizer system?

Can you bypass the immobilizer system without buying anything. I woke up this morning and my immobilizer won't let my car start. I need to know if there is a quick and dirty way to get the car started so that I can get it to the dealer.

-Fuel pump is pumping
-car will turn over

only thing missing is a spark, would a bad coil trigger the Green immobilizer light to come on. Because according to everything that I can find in the Helms manual, my Immobilizer system should be working. I just get that green flash of death.

when i turn the key to the first position the Green light flashes 3 times then stops, according to the helms, that mean that the system recognizes my key.

when i turn it to start the car though it just spins and spins and spins. And the green light will just flash for 10 seconds and shut off.

then when i shut it off the Green light will flash three or five more times ( I forget) , but according to the manual that means the system is set correctly.

I really just need a quick fix so that I can get it to the dealer and I've heard there is a way, maybe involving the brake but I don't know. Please help

Why do you think it's the immobilizer when it's telling you it's OK? I'd look at other possibilities (bad battery, clogged injectors, plugs, wires, etc) before I started messing with the immobilizer...

I'm pretty sure if that is happening you've already gotten past the immobilizer.

not true. in my gf's 01' integra, she got a remote start installed. But all it would do is turn over, until we got the imobilzer bypassed, then it would turn and fire up

Check your distributor, sparkwires, spark plugs. It shouldn't be the immobilzer because if it was, the car will not crank at all.

I have a non coded cut key that is used only for the doors and trunk. I tried that in my ignition and the car did not crank at all.

I recently had a problem with my distributor cap being melted. I drove the car and then suddenly the car shut off. Tried to restart the car but it would crank and not start due to the cap being melted.

Check all the other things before saying that it is only the immobilzer system that failed. It could turn out to be something else.

Yup, me too. Green key light flashes every time I start the car.

I seriously doubt it's the immobilizer. Check to see if you are getting spark.
