yes, but I don't know if it'll make your car faster. You'd just be at super high revs. Your motor won't make horsepower at those revs, so it might be better to use an si tranny to match your motor.
yeh good question..i was wondering this myself. I know that the H22 tranny has different gear ratios than the H23. But i dont know how it will affect the speed or revs.

bad choice bro.. although the vtec tranny a bit better the gear ratios are geared to vtec! they revv wayyy higher and your shifting and **** would be all weird as far as power goes.. dont do it less you get a vtec head to go with it. it wil just cause trouble and waste money.. promise
hey i was also wanting to make sure that the h22 tranny will bolt onto an h23 engine Prelude JDM H23A DOHC Vtec Blue Top Si-R Engine? because i blew up my type sh engine in my hatch. thanks

Yeah I have and h22a4 sh engine in my hatch now but it blew up so I wanna use my h22 tranny 4 the new h23 I have on order
it will not work because the sh tranny doesnt bolt up to any engine except for sh engine. your options are
1. get an sh engine
2. get any non sh h or f series tranny for your h23 on order
3. SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this has been covered many times! i bet you didnt even try searching.

Reason: incomplete
ok thanks alot the engine code says H22a4 but the tranny code is a M2A4 so that means it couldnt be an sh? so according to that sheet that tranny will bolt right up to my H23 i have ordered? thanks
