best way to remove sunroof visor

hi there im new to this site and i was jw what the best way to remove my sunroof visor is. ive been told heat gun and dental floss? tried it with the rain deflector on my door but it melted it and started to melt the paint so i stopped.

Have you bothered to look at how the sunroof visor is attached?

I'm confused. Are you talking about the optional clear deflector that attaches to the roof of the car or the sliding piece on the inside directly beneath the glass??

yea sorry its the plastic thing that goes on the roof of the car. and its attached by an adhesive, no screws or anything. just wondering the cleanest way to remove it

Mine was attached with screws and brackets. If it uses adhesive find a mild solvent and use a heat gun.

on a related note; how would you remove the inside visor
