Which is the best looking generation?

Out of all 5 generations, which has the best body appeal in your opinion?

I'm on the fence between the 4th, and 5th generation. Both have a nice modern appeal, with aggressive looks. The rear wheel wells on the 4th gen is absolutely my favorite part, aside from maybe the EL dash. I know it might seem biased (because I own a 4th gen), but I've tried most of the preludes, and 4th is my favorite. 2nd, and 3rd seem a little too boxy for my taste.

mine is a 4G but everyone I know with a lude has a 5G...so I wont be biased here.

I love the rear of both the 4th and 5th gen equally, but for front aesthetics the winner goes to the 5th gen hands down...

However, I do appreciate the 4th gen's design for being quite a bit different from the typical honda--and without badges the average person would probably have a hard time figuring out what it is. In the end I think that's what makes it a winner...lol just something about that ugly menacing look makes me/others love it, just like the WRX/STi.

That being said...I think my next car is going to be a G35 coupe...if you know what I mean. Dont hate me over this, but I think in terms of appearance, the G35 coupe in '02 sort of picked off where the 5th gen's left off in '01. :P just has that same sexy flow ending with a nice azz.

Didn't even kno ludes existed was in the market for a 94+ integra then I found the 4th gen lude and fell In love with it I was super stoked that I found a car that I liked better than the teg bc those are so so so common so I was looking for ludes on craigslist then I seen the 5th gen and my jaw dropped now I'm the super proud owner of a 99 base.

4th gen easy, lighter, OBD1, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAY better interior and I like that it's sort of a throwback to the 1st gen, well at least the tail lights are. They're also way easier to modify.

5g has a plain interior, heavier than the 4th with no better performance to make up for it, OBD2 sucks and the SH is a total waste.

My vote goes for the 4th gen! I love the aggresive look it has on front.
I always liked the 5th gen tho, but the front lights looks a little weird in my opinion :/

I like the 4th gen the best, despite the fact I own an SH. I would've bought a 4th gen, but all the local ones are pieces of rusted garbage. Well loved, clean 4th gens are getting hard to find. I didn't want a basket case, so I got the SH because of the tasteful mods and leather interior.

Damn Alex, tell me how you really feel about the SH lol! I know ATTS is pretty pointless for daily use, but I like my car

Eh sorry bud, they're just so unfriendly to mod and a good LSD will outperform the ATTS.

I've thought about selling the SH as is and trying to get $7000-$7500 for it, then buying a 4th gen and dumping the remaining cash into it. But I just don't think I'd get nearly as far as I have with the SH. I suppose that'd work if I didn't mind losing a lot of money in the end.

Well consider what you paid for it and what you've put into it, try to sell it for that and maybe break even. If you still have the red auto, that's money you just have sitting around since you don't even drive that one, maybe time to let it go?

Selling both those cars could easily get you a nice 4g with a bunch of money left over, you also have to look more places, there are some being driven around and even serviced where I work that are owned by older people who are the original owner. Talked to a customer at work who has a 94 white Si, everything on it is mint minus the normal sunroof rust, but a new panel and paint will fix that.

Ultimately up to you what you want to do, if you are really serious about having a Prelude that will see heavy modifications, it's just way easier to do with a 4g, especially the S model 92-93 since it has the bare minimum(no pass airbag on those 2 years).

The red prelude has been sold for some months now.... And the money earned from it went straight to pay back the person who paid for the SH. So unfortunately, I don't have that option anymore. The SH has 105xxx original miles and is in overall pretty damn good shape. I think I'll just limit my modifications to account for ATTS and just drive it. Thinking about maybe some Skunk cams or something... Oh well.. Lol

I owned a 96 Vtec and used to own a base 5th. I'm a Prelude Fanatic. Love ludes. But I also hate somethings in one or the other. The only thing I hate on the 4th gen like Argrate said is the Dashboard. But I grew on it and start to like it cause its unique. As for the 5th gen. I dont like the headlights. Looks like a freaking bug and the rear end kinda shape weird, even though with lips and stuff trynna make it look good, still weird. But the taillights are nice. Overall 4th Gen.

point of this thread? do we just like starting arguments? thats like choosing between Megan Fox and Jessica Alba (and I've owned 2 - 4th gens!)

But if I must vote...NSX...since there's no winning anyways.

I wish they kept the pop-up headlights for the 4th gen ludes. that would actually look amazing and fit in with the early NSX's. having a 4th gen would be like having a baby NSX!
