Auterra OBDII scanner questions

I just got this thing last night and so far, it is kicking ass most righteously.

Questions:

1) What values should I use for "drag" and "frontal area" in the dyno setup? The vehicle specifications document doesn't list a frontal area (and I think I've seen other values than what they list for drag).

2) Did anyone ever find a simple way to fix the god-awful CSV files that it exports to Windows?

Frontal area I'd just make guesstimation for angles and just measure the surface area. Use some real basic geometry to finish it. Just say full area of the bumper, headlight/front hood, rest of hood, and then winshield.. then just say full area of the side mirrors. For the angles, guesstimate it, doesn't have to be perfect. As for the CSV files.. I have no idea.

Excel handles the csv files reasonably well.

For drag I used 30 square feet or so. Didn't do anything fancy, just width of car times height of car.
Used the PDF value for drag.
If you're only using it on the prelude, it will still provide good A-B comparisons as long as you don't make any changes to the shape of the car.

It works just great. I've had this thing for years, and it's very reliable. I used it to diagnose a lot of different cars.

I purchased the item and am now having problem with the dyno part. I try to work it and run it in second gear and saved the setup as it says to. Each time I run it its telling me that i have 500 torque and such but then when i go to the side i see that the elevation changed to 1000 instead of 59 that i had entered and saved. Any advice would be much appreciated

Don't think I can offer any advice there, I never had issues setting my ambient conditions.

I will say that if you can get the atmospheric settings right, the road dyno is pretty accurate. You do need to take care to choose a stretch of road with no traffic that is flat though.
