Anybody ever bent LOWER control arms?

I'm curious whether or not anybody out there has bent lower control arms, b/c god knows I've bent plenty of upper control arms & blown out the control arm bearings...and I've successfully done that again. For awhile, it was just the upper left control arm, from a BAD pothole I hit months ago. Now the upper right one is popping from a blown bearing. I'm thinking that maybe I have bent my lower control arms, allowing me to bottom out easier no matter what height I have my coilovers set at.

I'm just curious. This is going to be another $250 out of my pocket for having my car at a low height...and nobody has gone through as many control arm bearings as I have.

Seems like you have a problem in the suspension elsewhere. I've been on my setup for about a year and I haven't ruined any control arms or bearings and I'm sitting pretty low.

I'm not sure a bent lca is your problem. Unfortunately I can't really offer an alternative, but your symptoms don't really sound like a bent lca. If it were, your steering would be super-wacky.

Although I have not bent any of my suspension components, I have seen plenty of cars come through honda that have. They are usually accords (driven by women, too) and they hit a pothole and bent the lca on that wheel and also they usually **** the front subframe.

I'm thinking my super-slammed days are just plain over. When I get the money to buy some jackstands and a nice jack, I'm raising the car back up about at least .25" all around. IT looks GREAT slammed, but it just ain't worth it anymore, w/ how bad the roads are in lots of Cali cities, and especially the massive freeway cracks & dips...
