AEM CAI question

ok is this plausible?: If i get an aem cold air intake and leave my resonator on, will I not lose whatever low end torque that removing a resonator kills, and instead just boost my mids and highs with no low end loss with the CAI?

I think you have to take the resonator out. the way it's shaped, the tubing of the resonator connects to the hole for the intake. the cai will go through that hole. thus, you must remove the resonator.

a short ram intake would be a different story though.

short ram would work for what i was talking about, right but just not be as effective as a cold air right?

There are some articles online i think in the links at hondaprelude.com and it was proven that a hot air intake on the prelude showed a loss in power verses the stock intake, however the cai showed positive gains.
