Hello, I'm very new to the prelude, but test drove a couple and I loved both of them...I'm confused now. I have a choice between a 95 SRV and 97 Type SH...most of my friends say the newer model just because, but the mileage on the SRV is lower, turning feels tighter, has leather seats, the dashboard style is original, it's cheaper by a good $1,500, etc. etc...and I feel more undecided than ever. My question is, which one would be a better choice performance/comfort/maintenance wise? all I know is the 2 engines are very similar...any opinions on this would help! Thanks

I do not need to explain anything to you.
My broken wings still strong enough to cross the ocean with.
My broken wings how far should I go drifting in the wind.
my bad, I deleted the others...I just figured I would get different answers in the different forums, seeing as how much people seem to love their preludes but my question still stands, and I have literally a day to decide...which one is better in your opinion? After driving both it seems the '97 is more sturdy and comfortable, and the '95 is more about speed...but like I said, I love both!
If you don't plan to modify the car heavily, then either one would fit the bill. If you do plan to modify heavily, I would say stay away from the Type SH. You will run into issues with the ATTS control unit not liking standalone engine management systems - meaning, you will lose ATTS if you go standalone. Alternatively, you can run piggy back EMSs but you won't have the full tunability as a standalone.
I personally don't know much about the 95 SRV.

It depends completely on you. That 95 had better be rust free if you're considering it lol.
Do you want less interior room, less head room, slightly harder to work on, harder to get parts, no fold down storage, and the looks of an eagle vision = 4g
More interior room, typical honda interior, newer, stolen less (never?), less rice boys, and the looks of a Mercury Mountaineer = 5g.
I decided to go with the SR-V, I was supposed to just drive it home yesterday, but I couldn't help myself and ended up driving about 150km
so I can't say I'm regretting it...I can't believe it's all stock! I see a lot of potential...and yeah, it does have a fair amount of rust, but I'm just gonna use the price difference from the Type SH and get a proper paint job...I don't really want to look like an import-fanboy, but a body kit would look beastly. I guess I'm going to be visiting this site again soon! Peace
If you don't wanna look ricer, go with a mugen or front lip of some sort, not a 'bodykit'
Also, make sure that where there's rust that if it's surface, you grind it down, bondo the area, and sand it smooth.. if it's deeper than surface, try to find a metal fabrication plant what will cut 11mil steel (that's the weight of honda's steel) in the shape of the rusted area, cut it out, and replace with new steel, unless its easily replaceable like a fender.
Sorry, that was a little long.
yeah, I'm gonna keep it simple at first actually...gotta get rid of that rust and get rid of the stock sub which blew out...and it's lowered a bit so I already struggle with speed bumps lol...hmm
