5th Gen Type SH w/ suspension OR S14 240SX with all mods exc. SR20?

I've been thinking about getting an S14 240SX. I'm just theorizing here. Between a lightly modified Prelude Type SH (with just suspension, tires, brakes, clutch, and catback) and an S14 240SX modified in every performance area except that it must retain the factory KA24DE 2.4L with only CARB approved mods... would the 240 beat out the Prelude just in hardcore driving dynamics?

Neither car would have anything but basic engine and exhaust modifications-- no turbos or SR20DET for the Nissan.

Give the Nissan big brakes, serious suspension modifications, LSD, HD clutch, catback, 245 series tires/rims--- everything other than an engine swap or turbo. Anything else to make it a serious driving machine.

With all that modification and a stock vs. stock difference of 200HP vs. 155HP (Nissan), would it still be worth it to switch to this RWD car?

it depends what you like...

my friends own both a 1997 240sx (with triangular front headlights), and his brother a 1992 240sx (with popup headlights) and they swear by them.

In straight drag race, I can beat both cars, and the 1997 has intake/exaust. As for comfort, id give the prelude much higher rating as the interior of the 240's are pretty small in comparison.

Overall, I love the bodystyle of the 1997+ 240sx, yet ill still take a 5th gen prelude anyday (stock for stock). sr20det drop is a totally different ball-game.

If its a Kouki 97+ 240sx I'd get that, although if it is a Zenki then I'd completely disregard it. If you drive through snow then I'd stick with the lude because my brothers 93 240sx goes no where.
