A caddy CTS owner at a gas station came over towards me (he was the manager I guess) and asked me what kind of honda I had. I replied, "Prelude", and he looked very surprised. He said he hasn't seen a prelude in a long time, and that it looked brand new. hehe..

i had someone ask me how i had a Type-SH that wasnt DOCH VTEC. I told him 'its very simple. you pull up the bottom-right corner of the sticker and pull left. now im sohc non-vtec.' vtec is what its about i guess. I heard that you can do a twin vtec setup with a hks blowoff valve that will cause BOTH your floor boards to fall out from to much nitrous.

i love my lude, but in cali they aint too rare so that sucks.....but today a friend of mine (EBP 5th) and I (Black 5th) took a little cruise around our college and then to McDonalds for lunch and we caught hella people looking......while we were eating inside of McD's 3 construction workers walked by our cars and they were all breaking their knecks looking back at our cars as they walked past them.....I felt so proud :]

you get twice the attention when you have another lude with ya...

The only time someone else has driven my car was when I first got it, an my dad drove it for a couple of minutes w/ my mom in it. No one else has driven it since...not even my younger brother I need to let him drive it so that I can see/hear it go

I need to get rims too....I'm sure that you're right....once you have new rims on then it'll complete the basic look for most people an they'll be lookin more

yeah, I notice that too....I always see people goin the other way an you can see thier head just focus on it as they drive by....it's really good when you can see their shoulders move....that's when they can't take their eyes off

My car only gets complimented on at night... because I don't even want to see my car in the daytime.

The next best part is when the service is done, and the tech pulls it back through the car bay... everybody stops and admires again. Then, the tech says, "Damn, that's a nice Prelude, son!" That's my favorite scenario I've experienced in the Lude... people just sittin' & admiring.

yeah....the last time i took my lude to the honda dealership; well, everyone was eyeballing it and telling me how nice it looked and stuff, then i handed my keys over to some greaseball who promptly took it behind the building. the next day i get a call telling me that my car is now propped up on 2 old car batteries and, where there were once wheels are now just open spaces, where there was an exhaust is now an open header, and where there was an aem intake was, well, not an intake.....besides rummaging through my interior and stealing my valentine one! bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i love getting looks in the Lude, and they are pretty rare around here, especially 5th gens. I pulled into a gas station just last night and these highschoolers were all huddled around some dudes 80's Olds Cutlass and i came rolling in. Needless to say, i got the gawking from all the little girlies.
