The best thing I like about my Prelude is the reliability. Ten years old, and still not a single problem with it. Add in the good looks and driving comfort, it's a very unique car.

I love my 'lude even though it's seen better days. Mine is full of door dings, dents, my back bumper is falling off and and my ex-gf keyed it from front to back on drivers side. All of this I owe to the LSU parking lots, with the exception of my crazy ex-gf. Now that I've graduated I always feel like selling it for dirt cheap and getting a Z or S2K but it's so hard to want to get rid of everytime I think of how nice it used to be and could be with a couple grand in bodywork.

This response is toward posts that were made 5 years ago :P

But the only REAL (significant) DIFFERENCE when you are racing or driving very hard between a FWD & RWD car, is how you regain control of the car when it loses control.

Just because a FWD car does not oversteer and tuck into a turn does not mean it can't loose control.

FWD & RWD cars lose control in different ways. With exceptions ofcourse.

Now if you're talking about drifting or going sideways in a turn? Well, so long as you are in some drift competition... RWD is the way to go. Otherwise, if you're on a track? Wheel-grip racing. Period. If you have driving skill... RW or FW won't really matter to you... Suspension tuning!

Btw... try taking off the front stabalizer bar. If you had somebody driving that car hard into a turn, and they didn't know any better... They'd think it was a RWD car.

and so....
1. The look
2. Handling
3. Decent Power
4. Upgradability
5. And the road begging for me to put the pedal to the floor

Back to life!!

I love my lude because
1. its not a ricer civic or integra (ha)
2. the looks. so damn sexy. i love the front end, the big, low hood.
3. the interior. the dash is setup so much better than civics or integras. and amber lighting is pretty nice.
4. decent power
5. handling. i get a smile everytime i do some spirited driving. i keep wanting to feel atts in action
6. the shifter. i absolutely LOVE the shifting action, feel, gear spacing.
7. i get lots of stares at stoplights or cruising through a parking lot
8.drives smoothly.

i love it! but i do realize its not a supercar, or an sti.

i have a soft spot for it.
